Problem with characters in Spanish when importing TXT files

Hi Vlad!

I commented that I am having problems with the characters in Spanish when exporting / importing files in TXT format.

Testing the import of TXT files (exported by Android application), I have found "strange" characters as you can see in the following image:

User Image

You can also see that you have imported 2 notes (one with the contents of the file and another with the title and content of the file) when it is a single file that contains the text that you can see in the previous image. This also happens when you create a note with accents and other characters in AMN, export it and import it again.

By trying to visualize the contents of the TXT file exported by AMN, the characters can be read correctly.

I tried the beta version and I have not been successful either.

The regional settings for non-Unicode programs are correctly configured.

How can i fix this?

Thank you for sample files, you are welcome to try out build #887, it is able to recognize file encoding by analyzing file content, so it can recognize various encodings which are different from current default locale adjusted in the Control Panel - https://one.allmynotes.info/downloads/Install_AllMyNotes_3_24_b887_Beta.exe

Re: Problem with characters in Spanish when importing TXT fi

Thanks for the update Vlad! I have already answered by email and I am waiting for an answer.

As I mentioned, I only have problems with the uncheck check box, where AMN exports it as well [] and I would need you to export it and read it when importing it [] (without spaces in the center).

An additional note is also imported when it comes to a file exported from the Android application that I explained in the email (I do not know if I can name it here), but importing a .txt file exported by the same AMN this time works very good

I forgot to tell you that the accented letters in Spanish and the imported / exported check boxes work as expected. It would only be necessary when exporting the uncheck check boxes as [ ] to be exported as []. I do not know if you agree.

Please sorry for delay with our reply in e-mail. Is there a way to contact Android software developers to improve their import to recognize [ ], cause, IMO, [] is much less informative, I'm sure it's pretty easy to fix it from their end as well.

No problem for the delay, I sent a high priority message to your inbox, please read it as soon as possible. On second thought, I agree with your opinion and I have sent an email to the developer of the Android application software, I am still waiting for an answer to see if you can solve this.

Thanks for everything Vlad! Will you make any announcement about the BUG mentioned in the email and report that the versions have been affected? I think it's very important that the rest of the users know the importance of the next update.
