New .png Picture Format Consequence

Postposted tommygun » December 16th, 2019, 2:46 pm

With the new .png format for pictures, I notice that the process of handling "Insert Picture" has changed and a temporary(?) file is created with a name similar to this "image_2019_Dec_16_Mon_07-21-12_AllMyNotes.png" in a user data folder - "C:\Users\Tommy\AppData\Local\Temp"

As a consequence, when doing a global search, if your search is for the word "allmynotes" (as in looking for a note that contains all my registration information) a bunch of seemingly unrelated entries show up in the results because anything that has a previously inserted picture will have "allmynotes" hidden in the picture's name.

As an additional consequence, since the original .jpg picture you inserted may have had a descriptive name (like, "nutrition label" for instance) searching for the term "nutrition" or "label" no longer finds that picture as it did in the past when the picture inside a note was stored with its original name.
