Hi!
I bought a deluxe license in 2013, exactly 10 years ago. I've used the software daily ever since (still v3.11!).
I originally bought the deluxe license because I tried about 30 different note-taking apps and yours had many of the functions I needed, but the real reason is because your global search was the fastest! I was also convinced about the encryption and container approach.
I used it to take notes for a book I published, to record all kinds of things.
I'm happy to say that in these 10 years, I have never had a crash or data loss/corruption.
(The only issue I have had is that when I needed to reinstall Windows, which has happened 3 times, I lost all of my settings, and once I lost my activation.)
I haven't kept up with the changes these past 10 years, so I wonder if you could tell me what has been happening and what v4 will bring.
Of course, all kinds of new functions would be great and I would meet them positively, but I am also specifically wondering if customizability has been enhanced. I truly want customizable hotkeys, fonts, font sizes, layout capabilities, etc. In the past, I have edited .ini files but this is entirely not user-friendly and the whole world has moved on to where most anything can be changed to suit the user's needs.
One thing I will say I hope for is, a very simple thing, that "paste as (unformatted) text" can be chosen as the default for ctrl-v. I have to paste without formatting tens or hundreds of times a day, and ctrl-alt-shift-v is wrecking my left wrist (which is now 10 years older).
Anyway, thanks and hope to hear about what has changed!

Thank you for your feedback, very pleasant to read it

I see...we definitely need a way to customize keyboard shortcuts. Hopefully soon...wasurechan wrote: ↑February 15th, 2023, 10:24 am One thing I will say I hope for is, a very simple thing, that "paste as (unformatted) text" can be chosen as the default for ctrl-v.
