Formatting Not Held unless you enter text

When I have say a title in bold and underlines font, then at the end of that line uncheck bold/underline, hit return the bold/underline format again returns....

It seems I have to hit rtn, then deselect bold/underline and type in text. If i type in NO text, then next time I come to this point, I have to again deselect the two font attributes.... this is totally different to any other windows program I use??

Can this be changed?? Thanks

Yes works exactly as expected. Thanks. One quick question, I run the portable version, so I just installed this in a separate location to test, it seems to work as the portable one, or do I need a separate installation, perhaps to handle the correct .ini etc??

You can simply copy allmynotes.exe to the folder where the main Portable version is installed, and it will work as a Portable version. Build #507 is stable, so nothing to worry about.

What makes AllMyNotes really Portable is presence of portable.sig file in to the same folder where AllMyNotes.exe is located, just single presence of this file is enough to turn on all portable features, the About box will indicate it.

i.e. ctrl+b, ctrl+u Enter Item text ctrl +b ctrl+u(remove formatting) ENTER. At this point if I enter text all is ok - no bold or underline. But if I use ctrl+shift+C to gte a checkbox, then the BOLD & Underline is back.....

Indeed, in addition to checkboxes, it was happening also happening for file attachments, images, and alarms. Fixed in version 2.59 (will be released shortly).
