Print without date in 'footer'

Can anyone tell me how to print a document without the date being inserted into the footer of the page.

I seems to do this automatically and I can't find any way to turn it off.

Can anyone advise me on this, please?

Currently there is no way to do it. How important this thing to you? I'm asking as I'm wondering what priority to assign to this task?

P.S. Is there other users who might find disabling date printing useful?

First, congratulation for your usueful program, good job!

For your question: I'm interested also, for the possibilty to disable and enable the date and time on foot printing.
I use your program all the day long, so, the print possibilities of the date or the time are very important for the follow up in my works.

Ok, upon your request we've added an option to print page footers. See the "Print page Footers (page N, date)" checkbox in the Printing window.

The option is added to versions 2.73 and 3.07 (beta), both versions will be released soon. In a meantime you are welcome to use build 759 below, which includes this feature too:
