I'm evaluating the free version on a Windows 7 system and there's a lot I like. However, one thing that would keep me from upgrading is that I use a lot of PDFs and want to be able to attach them to notes. When I attach a PDF file to a note, an icon for it appears in the note. But later when I want to find or view it, I double click on it and receive the following error that said it cannot launch while .doc and .rtf files open correctly. Image files also preview correctly.
"C:\Users\Brenda\AppData\Local\Temp\BD-NK-TU-Long Necklace-Bead Stdio.pdf file.
It appears the system has no application associated to this file extension. "
- I do have PDF's associated with Adobe Reader with in Windows 7 file associations.
- the file in question actually resides on a 4 TB drive (a WD MyBook) referenced as my F: drive
F:\Old XP files\G-Drive\1-Tuts\BD-NK-TU-Long Necklace-Bead Stdio.pdf
Does AllMyNotes not handle PDF's? or can you see something I'm doing wrong. Or is there some other way I should be trying to use PDF files with AllMyNotes?
Brenda
Attach file fails with pdf
Re: Attach file fails with pdf
Which version of AllMyNotes you are using? I strongly recommend you to upgrade to the most recent versions (as of today, it's version 2.77 and 3.09 beta), cause in one of previous build there was an issue with opening file attachments - file extension was missing on exporting from AllMyNotes, likely it is your case.
P.S. I've moved this topic from Sales to Troubleshooting area, cause it is unrelated to sales but rather issue of the app.

Re: Attach file fails with pdf
We've fixed this issue in version 3.37 - we had another report from our customer, and thanks to it it was possible to nail down the issue.
