Use menu item Help -> About, Portable version contains word Portable there.

Installed or Portable?
How can I tell whether I have the installed version or the portable version of AllMyNotes? I put all non-Microsoft Apps in D:APPLICATIONS regardless of whether they are installed or portable. It seems that the update process is different for installed vs. portable versions.
