Column #1 is sorted as decimal numbers, while #2 is sorted as strings, as AllMyNotes considers numbers with preceding dots as strings.

I can understand your point, that .1 is also a number, but what prevents you from entering numbers smaller than 1 with zero in the beginning?

Sure, we have a pretty advanced table sorting feature.



You can sort by any column, and even limit range of rows for sorting.



For example, if you want to sort all rows by single column:

1. Do double-click on a most-top column cell, as result, whole table column will be highlighted.

2. Right-click on a selection, a pop-up menu will appear.

3. Select menu item Sort, and in appeared sub-menu, you can pick sorting method - Ascending or Descending.



To sort limited rows range do the same as above, but instead of step #1 do select only limited amount of rows, not whole table high range of cells.





By the way, we have implemented also so-called "natural reading" text sorting feature, which treats numbers (even with decimal point) by their numerical value 8-)
