Thank you for reporting this! I've just
fixed it, please try build #419 -

Re: A couple of table issues
Dear Vlad,
When i insert column, Is it possible to stick the column width before the new column? For example i have 4 columns. I adjust with of column 1 and 2. When i insert column after column 2, i want the column 1 and 2 keep the width, not automatically resized and makes all columns have the same width.
It's not quite productive since i have to rearrange again the width of first and second column.
Re: A couple of table issues
Thanks Vlad and Brent,
It works great now.

Re: A couple of table issues
Ok... Figured, it was happening when font size was 16, and with font size 12 I was not able to reproduce the problem. Now it's fixed, effectively from version 2.37.
Re: A couple of table issues
Vlad,
I was able to reproduce Vic's issue by creating a new 3x3 table and then inserting a checkbox in the first cell of the first two rows, as shown in the picture below. Once I did this, pressing the down-arrow key resulted in the cursor moving only between those two cells. But once I added text to the cells (adjacent to the checkboxes) the cursor moved around as expected.

Just tried it, it works as expected to me... Perhaps this issue is specific to very certain combination of merged cells. Could you please send me either one:
1. A screenshot of the table.
2. Copy Note where it's reproducible, create new .ddb file, paste Note there, and send it to me.
Vlad,
In new note, click table Icon, in first row insert checkbox, use down arrow to move down one row, if you don't see the problem then the trouble might be in my computer.
P.S. The right arrow key acts the same as the down arrow.
Thanks for checking it out.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention. It's fixed now (effectively from version 2.36, which will be released very soon)

Copying a row (or multiple rows) and then pasting to another location either in the same table or in a different table sometimes works, but usually produces unpredictable results. For example, text from an entire row may paste into a single cell, or the text may paste properly across all columns but then a narrow row of lines may be inserted below or above the pasted row (this actually looks as if two tables exist, one right on top of another).
When you copy piece of the table it's placed in to clipboard as a new table. So far we don't support tables in tables - this is a know issue, we'll implement this feature, but bit later due to complexity of this task. In meantime you should be able to paste tables anywhere, except tables, including third-party applications.

Re: A couple of table issues
Vlad,
There seems to be a minor problem in a table if a none letter charater is used in the first position of a row (other than first row) such as check box or icon.
Right arrow moves cursor up instead to the right. If a letter charater is used anywhere in the row, right arrow works as it should.

Brent,
This might help until the problem is corrected.

A couple of table issues
Vlad,
I'm glad to see that you're almost done working on tables. Since you're now accepting issue-reports for tables, I thought I'd go ahead and report a couple of issues I've encountered since tables were first introduced. I downloaded build 396 and confirmed that they also exist there.
1. Unable to select a row within a single-column table when the row does not contain text. Since the row can't be selected, it also can't be deleted. (I use single-column tables for my task lists.)
I hope this helps!
