Interesting point indeed! It would be great to allow voting on each feature on this forum... Would be interesting to know is there a mod for phpbb3 forum (this forum is running on it), to enable voting/ranking on each feature?

Seriously, I'd hate to see "feature creep" in All My Notes. I for one migrated to it from Info Select because that program is trying to be all things to all people. Just a simple, searchable note database, that's what I want and what I have with the current version. I don't mean that there can't be improvements, but please Vladonai don't lose sight of the basics!

Your right, I think most are pretty happy with the product already. Also the developers are very responsive, so you don't wait that long for an answer. But I think discussion on what feature would add useful benefit to the program is a the right way, because then you only get the features added that make sense for the majority...as opposed to every whim us individuals have. That said, hyperlinks to a specific point in a note would be my 1 feature that would move me from very happy with the software to near perfection.... :D

But other forums for software I use, you see a lot of interaction and discussion about the software, further developments etc between forum members, but here not, which is a little strange.

Vlad, I did not mean there was a lack of comments from you, it was more the interaction of other forum member I meant. I for one don't expect you to be able to comment on every post we put here. So please don't take it as a criticism of your time spent here... We'd all rather you had your head down developing the products as opposed to replying to every post here I am sure.

I don't see so many comments in the forum for peoples feature requests (mine included :shock: ), so I thought I'd create this little poll to get some feedback on my ideas at least.

1. Hyperlink to a specific position within a notes, from within a note or another tree item.



Same as you can do within office apps etc. Not just hyperlink between tree items, but actually jump to a specific position.



2. Highlight notes with unfinished tasks. Or filter for unfinished tasks.



I would like to be able to easily find notes where I have unfinished (unchecked tasks), rather than having to check each note.



3. Collapsible Sections

If any of you have used Lotus Notes you'll know exactly what I mean. Within a note you can create sections, then you can use a +/- mark next to the section and you can collapse to just the section heading, or expand to see all the text. A great way to have a very large note, and navigate it with ease.



4. Attachment and link icon - added to tree item when you add a link or attachment, to easily highlight those with a link/attachment.



5. Drag & Drop from outlook.

Ability to drag an item, an email for example and create a note in Allmynotes with it.
