Right, it works. I'm not sure if it compares on binary level, or by last modification date, but it works very well. Every time the file is modified on your PC it's being uploaded to Dropbox automatically.

AllMyNotes saves data changes frequently to avoid accidental data loss... And Dropbox detects and uploads it immediately.
If you want to save traffic then you have to
put Dropbox on Pause, and then resume it once you want to leave the PC.
