An excellent observation! Indeed, it was a problem with drag&drop to the left-hand tree panel, extra 2 bytes where added to the end of a file. Build #484 addresses this issue:

The error message "Excel found unreadable content in Book1.xlsx" is definitely unrelated to AllMyNotes. All what AllMyNotes does on drag&drop, is copying data out of the clipboard exchange container. It has no access to the source .xslx file, this is impossible by design of Drag&Drop architecture, the destination app cannot corrupt source data.



Possibly you've moved data rather than copying it? It could case corruption of linked equations or charts. I'm not exactly sure. To whap up my point... To copy data, hold Ctrl key pressed during drag&drop, without it MS-Excel will delete source data out of Excel after drag&drop. I presume this is what happened to you, you've moved data which was used by an equation or a chart. And once again, AllMyNotes has nothing to do with it, same thing will happen on moving data out of Excel to any other app.
