I suggest that Spell check highlighted text be added. If any text was highlighted then this is what would be check for spelling errors possibly with the option to continue check all text.

I just wanted to add my support of this suggestion - having it only spell check the highlighted text would be a great time saver. I constantly use spell check but most often it is in the middle of a note, this would eliminate have to go through all of the previous content before getting to what I need it for (especially when the document contains names and such as I don't want to add them to the dictionary).

The other possibility would be an option to turn it on/off in real time much like the plugins used in web browsers.
