After a total hard disk crash, I managed to use an evaluation copy of IS v10 to gather & rebuild my info files back from a backup file. I've tried over & over to import nested folders and notes from a Tab-Delimited .txt export from IS, but just keep getting one-note flat files, or maybe major folders with separate notes. Yeah, and of course, the inevitable Label of Death. 8-( But I can get rid of those with Search & Replace.



Tab-Delimited general txt format is supposed to import the folders and sub-folders. I've tried importing

* Just straight import, no resetting of AMN delimiter (But there's no '--' delimiter in the IS export file, anyway.

* Deleted flag & replace it with a '=-=' (As EOR for previous record.

* Other fiddling around....



Nothing seems to work.



I attach 2 screen shots showing results of importing the files so far. You can see the Tab-Delimited folder level, but it doesn't interpret those Tab flags to DO anything.



Would really appreciate some help. Except for this import hassle, AMN looks to be just what I'm looking for!
