Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your quick response!
However, I tried both suggestions and here's what happened:
1) When using the drag&drop method (dragging rtf doc from Windows Explorer directly to AMN's Hierarchy Tree), a new note is created with a link inside the note (or file address to the document like C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\filename ...) but not the actual rtf document contents itself.
2) When importing more than one rtf document into AllMyNotes, I discovered that AMN will only take a small number of documents at a time: the limitation seems to be on the total number of characters included in the string of file names. I found that if the file names are relatively short, I have been able to import 4 or even 5 files at a time. But, when the file names are very lengthy, I can only import 2 or perhaps 3 files simultaneously. Could this be fixed such that I could select all of the files in a particular folder and AMN would simply go right through that whole list importing all of them, each one into its own note in AMN? (Otherwise, trying to import 1,000 files or more becomes extremely tedious).
3) Also, I noticed that when importing rtf documents, AMN gives the resulting note a title or caption taken from the first line in the document (and if the first line happens to be a black line, then the caption is "..". Could you include an option allowing the user to specify whether the newly imported document takes its name from the actual name of the rtf document or from the first line of the document contents?
Thanks a lot for all your great work!
Greg
