I am using the most recent portable version of all mynotes organizer and come accross this issue:

I can't create the subfoler or sub menu. i create a screen record video to show you what I mean.

In case you can't see the video, my structure is:

My data (root)

|______mytest

I highlighed 'mytest' and would like to create a subfolder/submenu underneath mytest. But the new item is always under 'My data' instead of 'mytest'. I can't create grandchild of My data (the root).

I tried on another computer and it is the same.

Sorry have not been able to look at the video.

BUT just to check... With the folder you want to create the sub-folder under - is the arrow on the right pointed to the right or down?? If to the right then 1st press the right arrow key. Then the arrow will point down. If its pointing down when you create a new folder it will be a subfolder...

Yep. When the selected folder is collapsed, a new item is created on the same level. Just make sure to expand it, if selected folder is expanded, new note will be created as a child of it. To expand a folder it's enough to press Space, or Right arrow (if you are editing folder name, hit Enter, to finish with editing).
