Re: Timestamp format
I agree. I do a lot of sorting, and timestamping is critical to tracking my work.

Making the time and date stamps user definable would be appreciated

Being able to define a template for the inital folder and note name would also be nice to have.

example, I have tdbn set to create a new note with yyyy-mm-dd followed by a hyphen so all I have to do is add any text I want. I also have it insert a date and time as the first line in a new note to help me track when projects were started

I'd be glad to export a subtree in treedb format so you can see how I use that and nested notes.

Timestamp format
There are decades and petabytes of data management experience behind this "request". Without this capability, the product does not present a reason to convert from editpadPro.

I need a "shortcut" that results in inserting a timestamp in the following format:

yyyy/mm/dd HH:MM with optional ability to spec yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm ddd where ddd is 3 character day of week.

The format SHOULD be user defined and changeable

>QT in Edit pad pro generates 2011/May/13 05:15

I need to be able to generate 2011/05/13 05:15 Fri. or 2011/May/13 05:15

This is critical in sorting, listing and searching.

I am an extensive txt copy paste person this is a Critical requirement.

Two issues with your date/time stamp

1. Requires mouse clicks

2. Very disruptive.

3. Not good for copy past into spreadsheets for sorting.
