I would prefer to insert a horizontal line instead of a space.

Dear Vladonai!
For clear view , i suggest this : "add separate space"
That mean: we could add a separate space between folder tree or Note tree. Like this :
add space for note: that mean we have some group without name (index content)
This could help us have a better way to manager . organization our data.
