Indeed. It was a bug, not supposed to be happening. We've fixed it in build #514 below:

Just select a Recycle Bin folder, and deletes it, or its content, by hitting the Del key, and don't worry about deleting the folder itself, it's being re-created automatically each time on item deletion.

Over time we'll add also UI to Empty the folder.

• 1 When I delete a note, it the screen focus or cursor follows that note to the recycle bin. Can it just jump to the next item above or below, to avoid the excessive scrolling.
  
  2 An empty recycle bin command to delete all notes in the bin would be useful
