Indeed, that was the date from previous beta version release, the correct date is September 24, 2013. Corrected :)

Vlad also on the about screen it reports its version 3.8 Build 771 not 3.08...

Yes, we did tweaked couple of things there, but this is not a big deal, all related to minor app version works correctly, including check for updates and what's new web links. SO I think there is nothing to worry about.
