If you need ideas how you can organize data by topic use QuickStart Wizard, it will create sample tree structure. Select Help -> Quick Start Wizard menu item, in appeared window click Next button to skip intro text, and on 2'nd page you can any of 5 predefined tree structures - Personal, Professional, School, Family, and Passwords/Bookmarks. You may check all of them for more ideas. And pres Finish Wizard button. A sample tree structure will be created, you are welcome to play with it - start adding new items to it, re-arrange it accordingly to your needs.

Yes, simply extract it to any folder on USB media, it will store data in that folder too, so all your data will be always with you, on USB media.

Do I just copy the extracted portable zipped version to a folder in the flash drive?

... and is the portable version free? ... and is it the just the same as the free version?
