I recently registered Allmynotes and really enjoy / appreciate the program.
After using it for several days, I have made several observations...
Annoyances:
* When minimized to the taskbar, it takes several attempts to make it exit via the taskbar icon pop up menu.
* Highlighting a section of text, followed immediately by a right click often looses the highlight.
I make heavy use of highlighting & copying via the mouse.
It is difficult to explain, but for some reason, in Allmynotes, I often loose the highlight when I right click.
This is minor, and eventually, I will get used to moving the mouse cursor a little left before right clicking...
* Checking off check boxes sometimes causes sections of the list to be highlighted.
With a list of checkboxes and the cursor somewhere in the list, start checking the boxes.
Sometimes, all the text between the location of cursor and the check box you are checking gets highlighted. checkboxes.jpg * Slow window refresh:
When alt-tabbing from allmynotes to another window that partially covers allmynotes and then
alt-tabbing back to Allmynotes, the window doesn't update right away and part of the other program
window still covers Allmynotes.
Difficult to reproduce, but seems to happen more often when alt-tabbing through several programs?
In the pic below, Allmynotes has focus and even the cursor flashing in the lower right, but the notepad window is still visible... window_repaint.jpg * As mentioned elsewhere, font size is "off" (fonts are 1 or 2 times smaller than they should be).
Nice to have features:
* Need "block" or "column" select.
Some editors do this via a ctrl or alt (or combination) and some do it via a toolbar toggle icon.
For example, MS Word does it via the ALT key. block_select.jpg * Link underlining often underlines things it shouldn't (or things I don't want underlined).
Like: one.two will be dot underlined.
I would like either better logic when auto-underlining "links" or an option to turn off link underlining all together.
Thanks for the great program...
