True, pasting of whole rows and range of cells will be improved soon to work similarly to Excel.

P.S. I've merged your initial post to Feature Requests with this topic, so we'll have them both on one page here.

Paste row into new row
Originally posted this as a Feature Request but on reflection I think this is a bug.

Using version 2.57 build 502

If you select a row in a table and paste this into another row of the same table all of the cells in the original row are pasted into one cell of the new row. This occurs regardless of whether 1 cell or all cells within the new row are selected. To get round need to select each cell of the old row and paste this into the cell of the new row. Need to repeat for each cell from the old row. This is very laborious and time consuming.

A few things
Using version 2.56 version 497

- If you select a row in a table and paste this into another row all of the cells in the original row are pasted into one cell of the new row. This occurs regardless of whether 1 cell or all cells within the new row are selected. To get round need to select each cell of the old row and paste this into the cell of the new row. Need to repeat for each cell from the old row. This is very laborious for moving rows around. Is there a way to simply select a row and paste into a new position in one action? If not can this be added as an improvement?

- A similar kind of thing. If you copy text with newlines (e.g.:

A

B

)

into a cell the text after the newlines (e.g. B) is inserted into subsequent cells. Is there a way to avoid this - i.e. paste all the text into the cell? If not can this be added as an improvement?

(This seems to have been included recently, Ian 8th February 2012)

- If you rename a note (or folder?) that is linked to the link no longer works. Its not obvious which notes are linked to from the tree so it is very easy to rename the object of a link without realising you are breaking the link. Is there a way to warn about this before breaking the link? If not can this be added as an improvement?

- Is there a way to link to an AllMyNotes folder / note from outside of AllMyNotes? If not can this be added as an improvement?

I think these have already been requested but just to add my backing for these:

- Implement numbered lists in addition to bulleted ones.

- Indent the text of second and subsequent lines the same amount as text for first line of a bullet.

Many thanks

Ian
