Hi, it seems to be that for my current version 2.59 514, the shortcut for adding a folder, adds a note not a folder. The note shortcut adds a note also.
F11 still works.
Ctrl + Shift +N Inserts Note Not Folder

Thank you for reporting. Indeed. It will be fixed in version 2.60, or build 518 - whichever will be available first.
