You can use Tools -> Options -> Defaults to adjust font face name/size, it works for all new notes. While for old notes need to change font there manually. You can doing by selecting wholenote text (shortcut key Ctrl+A), and then you can change font name/size.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean, could you please send a screenshot to illustrate what you mean?

Is there a set-up area where I can set the default font type and size for all the notes? I prefer to use another font, and a font size of 12 is a bit larger that I like, so if I could re-set these parameters globally, I won't have to re-set every page when I open or create it.
Also, I find that when I use any font other than Courier, when I print the note, the column alignment is all over the place.
