Thank you for reporting it. Here is the fixed build #490:

I was sure it's working that way, but you are right. I'll check on next week, hope it will be easy to fix, if so, the fix will be available in version 2.54.

Hyperlinks to local files
I just found this product today. After tried many other notes taking softwares, AllMyNotes is attracting to me.
Here I just report some minor problems about hyperlinks to local files.
AllMyNotes are very convenient in creating hyperlinks by using "Ctr+drag&drop" feature.
1), When I copy the hyperlink to Word, it will add an extra string "http://" ahead of the link. Please see the figure below.
My second minor comment is related to open files using hyperlinks. We need to press "Ctr" first and then left click on the hyperlink, which is same as that of Word. This way is actually not convenient for users who may frequently open local files. As for me, I typically use notes taking software to manager some research ideals. Usually there will be also several hyperlinks to the papers for each note.
2), Is it possible to open the file by single click or double click on the hyperlink?
This way is much easier and more convenient.
This is also consistent with other browsing softwares or notes taking softwares such as "OneNote" which actually use only single click to open the hyperlink.
------------------------------------------------------------
I would purchase this product in the next week. AllMyNotes has some nice features which I find is extremely useful to me.
Thanks again for this great product.
