I am currently using the trail version of the AllMyNotes Deluxe Organizer and I am very impressed with the attention to detail and care that I see in this product.

Generally, most outliners implement tables in a clumsy and awkward manner but AMN handles them effortlessly. They even print nicely which many outliners fail at.

I also like the ability to print at a reduced percentage... it allows me to save paper and still carry the notes I need.

My question is about sorting. I notice that If I have two, or more folders as sub folders of a parent folder (sub-folders, but on the same level) and I sort the parent folder by Name that individual notes within the sub folders are moved out of their folders to be sorted alphabetically within the higher parent-folder container. This behavior messes up my organization. The behavior that I would hope for is that the sub folders would have their contents sorted alphabetically, but each sub folder would retain the notes that have been assigned to it.

Please advise!

Glad you like it, it took really a lot of efforts to implement tables, we did everything ourself, while our competitors are mostly relying on third-party open-source sources, but, as result, they loose mental control over the code. While we've managed to implement everything on our own - from editing, to printing tables, in format which suits AllMyNotes architecture the best, which gives us the ability to implement even very complex features on tables.

I've just did some quick tests from my end, and I believe it works exactly the way you are expecting it to work - the content of sub-folder is not sorted and retains in the initial order, untouched... For the beginning, please make sure that you are using one of the recent app versions (possibly there is a bug which was already fixed some time ago).
