Does anyone have any experience of really large databases using AllMyNotes Deluxe?

I am looking for software to build a Knowledgebase and expect this to grow over time to become 1000s of pages in size. Each page is likely to have numerous screenshots.

I need to know the database will be able to cope well under extreme conditions so wondered if any users out there had done something similar?

Any advice would be welcome.

We are using our own database engine, we've invested huge amount of work to make it fast and reliable, it's kind of virtual file system within single file, with duplicate records (to restore data in case of minor disk error). We can store unlimited amount of notes without any effect on performance - only currently edited note is loaded in the RAM, while all other records are located on the disk at all times. As we have portable version which is stored on USB drive we did our best to implement self-healing database engine, which is able to recover lost (which is a common case for users with frequent incorrect drive removal) data without any user interference.
