Thank You, I never would have thought to look in file properties.
As I stated I am using auto backup. I just like the extra feeling of security I have when knowing for sure I backed it up.

Re: Save as issue
Menu item Save As is needed to change data file location quickly, therefore the app remembers new location.
For one-time backups user File -> File Properties -> Backup... button.
There is a better solution for backups - automatic backups. Check Tools -> Options -> Backups, there you'll find lots of options for backups - folder location, interval, number of days to keep backups (to save disk space). I believe that's what you need.

Save as issue
When I use file save as, and exit the program the last saved database is what opens next time. For example say I have database.ddb, then I save database_091611_6pm.ddb.
When I exit and reopen the file that opens is database_091611_6pm.ddb Is there a way to always open database.ddb by default My intent was to archive the data, not to change the main file.
It seems exporting to rtf and reimporting just adds one long folder. I am using auto backup, is a manual backup going to be problematic, or am I missing a setting?
Thank You
