In the English version of 2.53 build 489, the Options -> Backup dialog has "backups older then". This should be "than."

In Options -> Startup, for the last option the text is cut off after the words "default handler for". This may be because I have Windows 7 text size set to 125% but I haven't verified this.

Thank you for reporting this. The "than" text is corrected, but so far cannot reproduce issue with cut off text, will try with your screen settings bit later...

Oddly, the problem goes away when the display text is set to 150 percent. I noticed similar behavior with dialogs in Info Select so it may be that you are up against a bug in Windows 7.
