The global search in AllMyNotes is fast and wonderful. However it can only search the single current open .ddb file.
Usually we will create many AllMyNotes databases to keep each of them with relative small number of notes or folders. Otherwise the hierarchical tree will be very complicated or very long. Also the standard desktop search tools such as windows search or google desktop search can not index ddb files.
So how to find things in these cases is a problem.
A search feature, which can find things in many AllMyNotes .ddb files, is very useful.
A possible solution is to improve the global search feature. For example, we can search the current open ddb file and also the other ddb files in the same directory. This simple improvement will greatly enhance the search ability of AllMyNotes. We can find notes among many ddb files in the current directory.
Thanks.
