I have been using AMN for a while now on my work machine. I had an access problem with online access (My Docs was routed to server space) and want AMN to use files on my C drive. However no matter what I do when I launch the program AMN insists on looking to the server storage, and reports an error that the file is missing.

I have tried changing the prefs - and nothing changes (it won't even remember the skin)

I have tried clean installs - numerous times. I have removed anything AMN related that I can find and re-installing but nothing sticks.

I guess the server space (for which i have access problems) is causing the error, but as I am selecting local storage for the app data i do not know why this is happening. Is there some data somewhere that i may have missed?

The issue you are describing is related to allmynotes.ini file - likely AllMyNotes cannot access it. Possibly it's due to file access permissions. Try to simply delete this "allmynotes.ini" file to reset the permissions.
