Re: OPML import/export (progress)
At the risk of my sounding really stupid, this thread seems to address my problem somewhat. I'm running Windows 7/64 on desktop with AMNO beta 3.10. My phone is Samsung Note 3, and my tablet is the iPad Air 1 which I use for choir to replace a huge Gather Comp music book. I'm looking for a way to have an AllMyNotes app on the iPad and on my smartphone, and sync with Dropbox without jumping through a lot of hoops manually to make this work. Not happy with Evernote structure limitations or difficulty of OneNote. Is there any way that this is possible, or will be, soon?

Re: OPML import/export (progress)
Good. The export to OPML will give me a work around for an Android app. Outliner will sync with tjh or opml finder in dropbox. With it I can have notes on my phone and AllMyNotes.

I had looked at KeyNote for import/export but overlooked the fact its native format is knt. Thanks tor the tip.

One reason I am looking for something is AMNO was the only program I found that would import Roboform HTML notes (from version6) with any structure. Everyone else imported as one big note.

Not to belabor the point but AMNO needs a export method that retains outline structure. I have tried importing a html export from AMNO into KeyNote and it comes in as one note.

I believe so, but cannot say for sure if it will be available in the very first officially released version 3, cause we are going to release it without waiting for all the features that are scheduled to be added to version 3 after initial release. Same as we do in version 2 - we are adding new features even for years after initial release.

Sure! As we support import from .knt (KeyNote tree structure), and KeyNote supports export from TreePad, you can use KeyNote (http://www.tranglos.com/free/keynote.html) to convert TreePad to KeyNote format, and from KeyNote to AllMyNotes Organizer :)

I know this is an old thread, but so far there doesn't seem to be any progress. Will OPML be part of 3? Any chance of import/export of Treepad (hjt) format?

OPML is XML, see this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPML

Dropbox is intended for single user usage, to share data between work and home PCs, while for simultaneous work on same data file, you need version 3 (which is in beta-testing stage at this moment), which includes data sharing feature to allows data synchronization with "central" database. Central database can be placed in the Dropbox folder, and everyone will synchronize with it from time to time using Tools -> Data Sharing menu item.

Thanks for raising priority.

XML was the other suggestion.

I really want to use my iPad with AMNO somehow - might just have to settle for using VNC to access PC.

Please could you explain the best way to use AMNO with Dropbox (or indeed S3 etc) especially if there is someone else

using the Database.

Re: OPML import/export (progress)
Though OPML format is easy to support, we still had no time to look in to it due to amount of other tasks/features to work on. Thanks to your message we'll raise the priority of this feature request.

or indeed any additional import/export functions?

What additional format would you suggest to support?

OPML import/export (progress)
Hi Vlad,

Are you getting any closer to having OPML importing/exporting available ,

or indeed any additional import/export functions?

BTW , for all those who may be interested , AMNO works ok on Ubuntu Studio 12 Linux using WINE.

(Not sure if Linux/Wine fact is already well known - if it is , sorry!)
