Some customers find drag&drop feature unneeded, as it 's possible to move important data to random location and then it's difficult to find it. If you think the same, we've developed a solution for this case... As this option is rarely needed, special steps are needed to enable it (we are trying to keep interface simple):

1. 1. Exit from AllMyNotes
   
   2. Locate AllMyNotes.ini file, it's located in the same folder where AllMyNotes is installed.
   
   3. Open it using Notepad for editing.
   
   4. Search for string EnableDragAndDropInTreeOnlyWhenShiftOrCtrlPressed in AllMyNotes.ini file
   
2. 4.1 If found, replace it to EnableDragAndDropInTreeOnlyWhenShiftOrCtrlPressed=1
   
   4.2 If not found, then simply add EnableDragAndDropInTreeOnlyWhenShiftOrCtrlPressed=1 text line to the end of the file

5. Save changes

6. Start AllMyNotes
Result: Now drag&drop in hierarchy tree will start only when Ctrl or Shift key is pressed.
