We seriously need a way to set the pasting default as plain text.



I'm continually copying text from all over the place and they are all formatted differently, it sucks.



CTRL + ALT + V can not be done in any fast or comfortable way.



Why has this simple feature been ignored for so long?

Yes, I do the ctrl-alt-V to paste. Falls far short of other similar apps that I use. Again, a default paste or icon would be a real standout and is much needed (IMHO) ;)

Why not ctrl-shift-v? It will then paste as plain text...



I agree though...I think it would be nice if there was a "Paste unformatted text" right click menu, or a default as you suggested.

When copying text from websites, any web links in the text being copied are currently underlined.



While that's helpful, I'd also love to see "an option" provided to enable me to select a specific font color (under Tools/Options) for all copied Web links.



I currently have to go back through through the entire text copied and then change the font color of each of the web links that were included in the copied text.

The Cut and Paste as plain text option somewhat works. It uses the font used in the last line of the note and not the Font you have setup on your options. It also removes all the images from the note, which you may or may not want to do. Just some thoughts.

You can use same feature as above to clear text formatting. Simply select all text you can to clear formatting from, press Ctrl+X (Cut), and then Ctrl+Alt+V (paste without formatting).

I would like to request this feature as well. Some of the alternatives that can be implemented are:

- Change note type to "Text only" so you don't need to worry about formatting.

- Add an option for the note to quickly reset all the formatting in a note. This could be a good option because it doesn't necessary means losing any images on the note, kinda like a "Clear formatting" in Word.

Or any of the option stated by membo. I have the latest Beta and Deluxe software and was hoping to see that option there. Please consider it.
