Bug Report - Sorry to bother if this is old hat and known about:

All My Notes version Beta 3.03, using webmail to create a message - the latest version of the Chrome browser will not seem to work with cutting ad pasting even ordinary text in or out of a note. Workins fine with IE 9.0.8112 and Firefox v15.0.

I'm using W7 Pro SP1 fully updated.

I'm using the Chrome browser daily too, also the most recent version (21.0.1180.89), and it works good to me. What e-mail service you are using? Does it fails top paste text from other web-sites? If so, try to restart Windows, man problems can be fixed using this trick.

Thanks for putting this in the troubleshooting thread. This is an update.

Information: I'm also using Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m. O/S is Windows 7 Pro SP1 fully up to date and I use PC Tools Registry Mechanic to keep the registry clean. I use Kaspersky Internet Security 12.0.0.374.

I rebooted to start everything fresh.

Whilst testing I tried everything with KasperskyIS completely turned off and then on again. I normally run the logmein and Teamviewer clients for remote support but these were switched off (exited) before I started testing.

This is a strange one. the basic problem is that I can cannot copy and paste Notes text in AllMyNotes into webmail whilst using Chrome (I've tried Gmail, Yahoo and 1and1), but I can do so from say a text file in windows.

IE and Firefox work fine. I can copy and paste text from webmail into Notes in AllMyNotes no problem in all 3 browsers (IE, FFox and Chrome)

A clue may lie in the fact that I am in Chrome right now and I can past notes text from AllMyNotes into this message box no problem - so it's an issue with webmail message boxes only so far - maybe someone more enlightened can help figure this one out...!

I do run a lot of programs on the PC and perhaps this is a fairly unique issue.

I'm going to uninstall Chrome and reinstall - will let you know the result.

Ok, finally I'm able to reproduce the problem, just fixed it! Build #716 is free from this issue:

Just one last thing - think you need to know that the download for beta build 716 does seem to have the right file signature as I've installed it, entered the password prompt to open up the database, an error message appears that the file signature for the program is missing or incorrect...! I've reinstalled build 714

The signature is file named "allmynotes.sig". You can try to delete it and reinstall the app, I believe that the installer itself is ok, just something went wrong during the installation process.

And, if it will happen again, you can go around this message by holding the Shift key pressed down when app starts up.
