I have attached two screenshots.
Maybe its to do with text in a merged cell?? I have also tried to re-create on a plain text note, and all functions ok there.
On the Undo menu when this occurs, 1st click back is undo typing, 2nd undo clear section.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce. I highlight a word, and typing new text, naturally that newly typed text deletes old selected text, but it doesn’t delete anything after the selection... Perhaps I more steps to reproduce, or a screenshot is very welcome.

If I try to edit an old note, and I want to replace a single word in a sentence. i.e. highlight the word and start to type, all the words after this point are deleted....
I can add a word in, i.e. just pick a point and start typing. But it I highlight the word to be replaced and type, then this behavior occurs.
