By the way, second monitor is supported too, but there is one trick - first need to restore window, place it on second monitor, and then snap functionality will work on it. In other words, snapping works on monitor where window is displayed. Just want to let you know how to find quick workaround for this issue.

I'm using 386, the release build. It's a little tricky for me to reproduce too. It happens sometimes, but doesn't seem predictable. It's not really a major issue, but I'll let you know if I figure out a consistent way or reproducing it.

Thank you!

Re: Snap Functionality?
Guess I forgot to come back and check for a response until now, after the feature has been put into a full release!

First, I want to thank you for implementing this. Now for the bad news... I have bugs to report.

  1. My second monitor doesn't seem to be recognized by AllMyNotes. The hotkeys won't move it to the opposite monitor. If I drag it to the top of the opposite monitor it is maximized to the one it was originally on.[/*]

  2. Dragging while maximized doesn't work. Since I keep AllMyNotes maximized most of the time, this can be a bit of a problem. Having to restore the window, then drag to snap feels a little cumbersome.[/*]

  3. [*]When maximizing via Win+Up the editor area isn't updated until the mouse is clicked on it. The caret can be moved around with the arrow keys without updating the editor area. This only seems to happen sometimes.[/*]

I think that's all. Thank you again for implementing this, it's already useful even with the bugs.

Re: Snap Functionality?
Ok, please try build below and let me know your experience:

As AllMyNotes supports skins, Windows cannot enable snap feature for it, therefore we have to handle this functionality manually. We've implemented Win+Left, Win+Right, and Win+Down shortcuts support (surprisingly, Win+Up key works even without our help). Also drag&drop and dual monitors must be supported unless we've missed something.

As a side-effect of extra work that we've done from our end, Snap feature works in all Windows versions!

Snap Functionality?
Just curious if there will be integration with the Windows 7 Snap feature at some point? As it is now moving AllMyNotes between my two monitors feels a little cumbersome when Snap works so well for that kind of thing.

Congratulations on the new forums! Excellent idea.
