Re: Sorting lockout
I hear you. However, that does seem like a lot of work.

Sorting by "Creation Date" can get my notes back in order. The problem is that I sometimes need to later add a note midway in the file. I can drag it where I want it, but can't get it to stay there if I sort by "Creation Date".

I can see the "Created" under "Properties>Item Info" (Example: 9:45 Thursday, November 06, 2014)

If I could modify that line, I could reset it to fit in my note list where I want it after any "Creation Date" sort. I see where the details can be highlighted and the cursor can be set, but it won't modify or change.

Can the "Creation Date" in Item Information be changed?

Thanks

Re: Sorting lockout
How about this - copy whole folder, sort copied folder the way you want, once you no longer need it, delete it and return back to original folder.

Sorting lockout
I love the various sorting methods that AMN features. However, I sometimes am breaking a book apart into individual notes to rewrite it and need to search for repeated information. A sort---any sort---would be devastating. Is there a way to "lock" a huge number of notes so that sorting is impossible? I did have the thought that "sorting by date" might restore any inadvertent mixing, but any editing might make that not so good. Ideas?
