I have just installed the portable version on a flashcard solely for the purpose of passing on family history data. As I started the data in the PC version it is easier to update there as time permits but I wish to deliver updates to the portable version that I will be passing on to a younger family member. The question is: is it possible now while the portable version is connected alongside the PC version to start the ball rolling? and later the portable version will be half a world away that I will need to update. Advice here will be greatly appreciated.
