Cornell System Integration in AllMyNotes Organizer

The Cornell Note-Taking System was designed by Walter Pauk in the 1950s and validated by Wichita State University research in 2008 as better for retention compared to traditional methods.

AllMyNotes Organizer's flexible design makes it perfect for applying the Cornell Method. We recommend two strategies:
1. Create a Table (through Edit → Insert → Table): design a 2x2 grid, then join the bottom cells for your Summary section. Use Cues/Keywords in the left cell and Notes in the right cell. Use background colors to separate each section.
2. Utilize AllMyNotes Organizer's two-panel layout: the left hierarchy tree is excellent for Cues/Keywords, while the right editor displays your detailed Notes. Add your Summary as the final note in the hierarchy.
