I have deluxe version at home, tried the mobile version from a memory stick at my office. Did not work. Office network will not let anything be written to outside the PC (except our business apps), and I suspect that is the issue. Is there any solution? Tks

I have deluxe version at home, tried to use portable version on USB stick at work but AMN won't load. The network won't write to the any portable device, so I expect AMN is trying to get set up to save stuff to the USB, but I WOULD BE HAPPY TO VIEW ONLY. Is there any solution for this? Tks

AllMyNotes needs write permission to access data, even for reading. In fact we do not have read-only mode. We can file it as a feature request.

What I would recommend is to synchronize your data file using Dropbox (or any other cloud storage) service, it resolve this issue. You can read details how to do it here.
